Taking a bit of time
out of a hectic schedule... for my best friend...
something i forget to do sometimes... when i let the

Christmas comes to St. Stephen's Green!
10/12/08 19:40
Christmas joy is spreading at St. Stephen's Green
Irish Pub... the garland is draped... the holly is
hung by the chimney with care... the crackling fire
welcomes chilled wayfairers... to warm themselves and
enjoy a tatse... listen to some good music, enjoy
some fine food... and the atmosphere is just... so
christmas-like and old fashioned!!!!
We always enjoy seeing familiar faces! Singing those good old christmas songs, and mixing in lively jigs, reels, hornpipes and polkas... while our dear patrons come and dance... just reveling in the wonderfulness of the evening!!!!!! Despite the lights... threatening to darken the glow of our inn... in the dark, winter evening... St. Stephen's being one of the few "lit" public houses in the entire Monmouth county due to the electric outages!!!!!! We had fun gathering with familiar friends, who came to sing, (Yes... YOU Mr. Kelly!) and dance to our music!
The Christmas frivoloties shall continue... so if you haven't had the chance to come join us yet this season... this is a great place to go, at the end of the day, for a good dinner and forget the stress of Christmas preparations! Come enjoy! and have a good time! Tuesday evenings..... 7 to 10 PM Read More...
