Apple Festival - October 11, 2008 was a BLAST!

The annual Apple Festival held again at Kirby's Mill, in Medford, NJ - October 11, 2008 - was Soooo much fun!

There were an estimated 20,000 people that came out to enjoy the beautiful autumn day. The fresh pressed apple cider, which aromatically drifted through the air at the fair... as well as the sweet smell of kettle corn, and fall leaves only added to the beauty and savory thrill of the fall day... it was wonderful! A more festive, autumn kind of day would be hard to find!

Jennifer, John and Phil filled the day with music from the big open barn doors.... and got lots of folks dancing, children hopping and twirling about... and lots of feet tapping!

We had quite a few friends from our St. Stephen's Green crowd come out and hear us play... as well as our frequent singer/guitarist Tom, who came up and shared a few tunes with us! It's always great to see familiar faces and friends!

Here's a clip of Jennifer, singing one of her favorite old, Celtic songs... Siuil a Run.... half in Gaelic, half in English... backed, of course, by some of the boys of County O'Cean...
